About Us

Inspired to live an extraordinary life and make a difference along our path.

To us, life is an incredible journey with endless possibilities.  Adventures and opportunities are everywhere; it’s simply a matter of dreaming big, embracing an open mind and heart, and taking the plunge.

Together, we believe in living life to the fullest, growing professionally, personally, and spiritually, and making a difference in the lives of others.

In October 2011, we left our secure careers and comfortable lifestyle in Andover, Massachusetts for a journey of a life time: traveling the world, taking photographs and videos, and sharing stories.

Create Your Own Path – our blog, videos, and photo gallery – is where we share our experiences.  Our goal is to inspire and empower you, literally, to create your own path.  Thus, follow your dreams and realize your fullest potential.

We are also endeavoring  to make our travels financially manageable by means of specialized projects, sponsorship, and engaging in freelance photography and writing.

If you are interested in collaborating with us or learning what we can do for you, check out our Skills, Specialties & Services.  We look forward to the possibility of working with you.

About Brian

Brian has a natural ability to build strong rapport and trust with others.  He is recognized for his warm personality, approachability, and positive energy.

His prior professional experience is sales operations, marketing, telecommunications, training and personal development.  He values personal growth, honesty, integrity, and persistence and believes in helping individuals discover and fulfill their innermost passions.

Brian’s first adventure abroad took him to Cancun, Mexico for spring break during college.  Since then, he’s explored various parts of the Caribbean, Costa del Sol in Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, northern Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

In his spare time, Brian can be found singing karaoke–some favorite standbys  include Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive”, Snow’s “Informer,” and Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life”.  He also loves  sports, golfing, reading, and, of course, traveling.

 About Catherine

For more than a decade, Catherine has educated and inspired middle and high school students to achieve their fullest potential both in and out of the classroom. She strongly believes that “every child has the ability to strive to be his or her best” and in empowering parents to enhance their own child’s learning in conjunction with the school curriculum.  Recently, she launched Elite Educating, an online program for parents to enhance their child’s middle school learning.

During Catherine’s collegiate experience, she exemplified the importance of travel as education by studying abroad in Monte Mario, Italy.  There, she utilized her coaching talents to educate Italian students about the English language and American culture.  Her travels have taken her throughout Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean. These unique experiences serve to enhance learning and uphold Catherine’s belief that “it is vital to be a life-long learner, especially in today’s rapidly changing world.”

In her free time, Catherine loves busting out a mean cha cha or hustle on the dance floor.  She’s also passionate about creating home videos, running road races, writing, and traveling.
