One of the most incredible adventures that we’ve ever experienced in our lives was an African safari. Our journey took us through the vast beauty of Tanzania’s Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Not only did we get to see the Big 5 (African elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), but we also had an opportunity to see a number of other beautiful creatures and . . . experience a National Geographic moment when a lioness came very close to attacking her prey.
